Birthday Wishes

Guten Abend,

Ein kurzer Blogpost um meine Karte die gestern Abend entstanden ist zu teilen. Das Motiv meiner letzten Karte hat meiner Freundin Cristel so gut gefallen, dass ich mit der süssen Maus eine Geburtstagkarte basteln sollte. Blau/Grün war auch eine Vorgabe und dies ist mit Distress Ink im Hintergrund und Copics für das Motiv entstanden. 

 

Just a short post to share my latest birthday card which I made for a friend. She liked this stamp from Penny Black called Fairy Stardust. She also asked for a blue and green card. I used copics to color the image and Distress Ink to spritz/splater my background :)

Ich hab noch etwas rumexperimentiert mit meiner Nikon Kamera. 

Mit einer selektiven Farbe sind diese beiden Bilder entstanden. Die gefallen mir wirklich gut.

I was playing with my Nikon camera and tried this new feature
selecting one color by taking the picture. And this is what came out.

Fairy Stardust

Mir war wieder mal nach malen. Und so habe ich meine Copics ausgepackt und dieses tolle Motiv von Penny Black / Mo Manning "Fair Stardust" bemalt. Glitzer ist natürlich auch wichtig in dieser Winterszene. Leider sieht man die Stichels nicht so auf meinem 1. Bild, deswegen habe ich noch ein Paar Bilder aus einem anderen Winkel gemacht. 

I felt like coloring again with mic Copic Markers and chose to color this cute stamp from Penny Black / Mo Manning "Fair Stardust". There has to be a lot of glitter as well. Unfortunately you can't see the tickles very well on my first picture. That's why I took some other pictures from a different angle.

This is finally the card my friend chose for her Dad's 70th Birthday. I added after taking the picture the number 70 in the biggest bubble. Sentiment and die cut are both from Simon Says Stamp collection.

You are the Star

Morning Folks,

I have been asked by a friend to make a Birthday card for her Dad. I told her I will give it several shots. So this is the first card I cam up with. The star Die is from Simon Says Stamp. The background is made with Distress Ink. This was also my first try using this waterbackground technic. I kind of like it. I also want to share some pictures of my holiday in souht of France. I want of course scubadiving :)

Happy Birthday

Hi Folks,

And this will be my 3rd card for the MFT Super Star Contest. The word "Happy" is a Die from the MFT Set Die-namics Brushstroke Birthday Greetings and the rose background stamp is called BG Roses All Over Background. I used Distress ink to color the background and gold embossing powder.

Challenge #41 Stempelgarten - Am Himmel über uns

Guten Morgen,

Heute gibt's eine neue Challenge beim STEMPELGARTEN. Mit dem Thema Am Himmel über uns. Ob Flugzeuge, Ballons, Wolken, Vögel, Sonne etc. was euch eben zum dem Thema einfällt. Bei mir ist es eine Miezekatze von Penny Black, die über Dächer schwebt. Endlich habe ich wieder mal etwas gemalt mit meinen Copics.

Es gibt auch einen Aufruf für neue Design Team Mitglieder. Falls Ihr Lust habt, meldet euch bei Alex oder gebt einen Kommentar unter der aktuellen Challenge ein.

Today's Challenge at STEMPELGARTEN is all about in the sky above us. If, airplanes, balloons, clouds, birds, the sun etc. whatever comes to your mind and inspires to this theme. I used a flying kitty from a Penny Black clear stamp set. The houses are also cling stamps from Penny Black. I managed to use once again my copics to color the image.

Our Design Team is also looking for new DT Members, so if your interested, just leave a comment on the challenge blog.

Ich war letztes Wochenende in der Nähe von Genua (Italien) mit 2 Freundinnen tauchen. Es war einfach traumhaft. Fantastisches Wetter, tolle Sicht unter Wasser und so vieles gibt's da zu sehen. Hätte ich echt nicht gedacht, nachdem ich doch des öfters in wärmeren Gewässer (Indischer Ozean, Karibik usw.) tauchen war. Lohnt sich wirklich. Und so kalt ist das Meer auch nicht zwischen 25 und 19C° Grad,  je nach Tiefe.

I went diving in Genova (Italy) last week-end with 2 girlfriends. It was amazing !! Best visibliity you could imagine and beautiful weather. Didn't think you can see all this kind of fishes and animals. And the water wasn't as cold as expected. Between 25 and 19C° depending on how deep we dove.

 Und wie ihr seht, habe ich nur Unsinn im Kopf :)

And as you can see I am also crazy under water :)
