It's been a long time I haven't used my Magnolia stamps. I want to participate to the just magnolia challenge, therefore I used little Tilda from the wedding collection. I had some trouble colouring her with distress ink. So I started with copics but didn't like the end result and started all over again with Distress Ink :) I stamped Tilda with Memento Rich Cocoa (brown), which usually doesn't work with the distress ink, but it worked perfectly :) Have a look at the close up of Tilda, then you will see that I put some stickle stardust on her dress and hat.
I also have some great news to share, Marjolein, owner of the Scraphouse asked me to design cards for her blog in order to advertise for her stamping material. I'm so excited about this. The design paper I used is from "Wild Rose Studio" and can be bought at the SCRAPHOUSE, as well as the ribbon, the big fuchsia Flower, the Magnolia stamp and the heart charm. Et voila... my first card for Marjoleins' blog.

Ca fait quelques temps que je n'ai pas utilisé mes tampons Magnolia. Avec cette carte je veux participer au Magnolia challenge et c'est pourquoi je me suis servie de la petite Tilda de la wedding collection. Par le passé j'ai essayé plusieurs fois de colorier les Magnolia avec mes Distress Ink, mais avec un résultat peu satisfaisant. Donc j'ai décidé hier soir de m'y remettre avec mes Copics, mais le résultat final n'était pas très convaincant non plus. Donc j'ai recommencé mon coloriage avec les distress ink :) Pour tamponner Tilda je me suis servie de l'encre Memento Rich Cocoa (brown), qui d'habitude n'est pas utilisées avec les distress ink, mais ça a fonctionné parfaitement :) Si vous regardez Tilda de près, vous verrez qui j'ai ajouté à sa robe et à son chapeau des Stickle Stardust.
J'ai une bonne nouvelle à vous communiquer. Marjolein, la propriétaire de SCRAPHOUSE, m'a demandé de créer des cartes pour son blog, afin de faire de la publicité pour son matériel de bricolage. Je suis tellement contente et honorrée. Le design paper que j'ai utilisé est de "Wild Rose Sutdio" et peut être acheté chez Scraphouse, ainsi que le ruban, la grande fleur Fuchsia, les tampons magnolia et le charm en forme de coeur. Voici donc ma première carte pour le blog de Marjolein.
